I copied this photo [link] just for practice.

I'm still figuring this digital painting thing out, let me know what's working and what isn't, eh?

Photoshop, about 4 hours. The original size is 8.5 x 11 at 300 dpi.

I think the face is a bit wide in the nose-forehead area, but the body structure is good.

Check the ears again too - hooves look great!

This is beautiful! XD The hind legs look a little off to me, but you did an amazing job with the shading!

Ooh your right, the face is too wide. How did that happen? Lol. I think the eye is too small as well. And crap, I didn't even realize the ears are unfinished until you pointed that out.

For the forehead, it might help to give a little bit more of a brow on the left eye, and perhaps add a little bit more to the front of the mane. But damn, that's some good coloring.

Yeah, it looked alright when I sketched it, but I guess I just over did it when I painted it. I may go back and fix it up some time in the future.
