What I Learned From The Pros.



:bulletgreen:Practice every day, even when you don't want to.

:bulletpurple:Figure out what your weaknesses are, and conquer them!

:bulletgreen:Draw things that you hate, and keep drawing them until you're good.

:bulletpurple:Be realistic about where you stand as an artist: Don't get an ego, but don't belittle yourself either.

:bulletgreen:Draw during every spare moment you have: on the bus, on the loo, at the dinner table, during commercials, etc.

:bulletpurple:Learn to give and receive critique, don't take anything negative personal; you should learn from it!

:bulletgreen:Don't expect every little thing to turn out right. Mistakes are ok. Just be sure to learn from them.

:bulletpurple:Never be afraid to experiment with new materials.

:bulletgreen:If you want to know how an artist does something, ask.

:bulletpurple:Share your own knowledge and experiences with others. Network network network!

:bulletgreen:Keep on practicing.

:bulletpurple:Set realistic goals and follow them through. Entering contests is a good way to learn how to work on a schedule.

:bulletgreen:Remember: never settle. Mediocrity kills! If you see something wrong with a drawing, FIX IT.

I need money, like really bad, so I figured I'd try this commission thing out. Again.

What I'll do:

Character sheets- 10$ to 20$, digital. Human, anthro, fantasy, fursonas... individual characters as well as species.

Character portraits- 10$-20$, digital or colored pencil. Anything but human (for now).

Pet portraits- 20$, digital or colored pencil. Any species, even fish :)

Inking and coloring jobs for comics (prices to be discussed)

Any other illustration jobs that feature animals/creatures (prices to be discussed)

I also have an artist anatomical model for sale. It's practically brand new and has only been out of the box once. I paid over 200$ for it (yeah.... I know), and I'm only asking 80$.
